LAACC Membership Information

Members of LAACC are committed Christians who are licensed professionals in their particular field of mental health.  Professionals include marriage and family therapist, licensed counselors, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, and others who have advanced training and licensure in one of the mental health professions. 

LAACC welcomes all of these professionals whether they are associated and work with a Christian organization, in private practice, in schools, or in any other clinical situation.  LAACC especially recognizes the important benefit of the affiliation of Christians who networking relationships among those in our field.

Future Plans

In the future, LAACC plans to provide several opportunities for membership through a divisional structure.  In doing se, we could like to be able to include pastors and pastoral counselors, youth and family ministers, Christians educators and other with theological counseling training.  LAACC also would like to support and assist and perhaps help equip lay counselors who have little or no professional training.
